If you are interested in taking your athletic performance to the next level - whether that next level is beginning a training program for the first time, improving your personal best time, winning your age group, or turning professional - you came to the right place.

Joe Company, PhD founded ECo in 2010, but prior to this he coached at the high school and collegiate level, worked with Olympic training programs, and worked with a number of high-performance athletes, scientists, researchers, and coaches.  Joe began consulting endurance athletes in 2002, but as he evolved in his education and experience, he wanted to make his expertise available to more people.  ECo is the product of Joe's experience.

Endurance Company coaches and partners are carefully selected to provide quality coaching, teaching, information, and advice. All ECo coaches provide a valuable combination of education, practical experience, and knowledge in Joe's training philosophies.  Endurance Company coaches apply these key principles to provide unparalleled, customized training programs for all abilities of athletes.

Our mission is make your training and racing experience as rewarding as possible. The goal is to help you become a healthy, successful, complete athlete by providing a training plan that helps you reach your goals while maintaining balance in your life.

In addition to custom training plans, we offer laboratory bike and run VO2max and lactate testing as well as 'field testing' for bike power. These tests allow unparalleled optimization of your training plan.

2013 ECo Season Summary

2013 was a very exciting year full of personal records, outstanding performance and gutsy efforts.  I want to say THANK YOU to everyone who is part of the ECo community.  This includes not only the athletes but the support group, which includes coaches, therapists, doctors, scientists, and sponsors. I continue to be impressed and inspired by the work ethic, the commitment, and the performances.

A special thank you to Valdora Cycles, Aquaman Wetsuits, Crank Sports (eGels), SRAM, Louis Garneau, and Brooks Running for supporting Endurance Company.

ECo athletes are part of a group of incredible athletes who have chosen to train wisely, work hard, and redefine their limits.  Endurance Company works with a small group of athletes in order to provide unparalleled individualized attention. The results speak for themselves.

For those of you who are part of Team ECo, you know where you fit in the lists below.   Thanks and great job!

ECo System

Training plans are a small part of what Endurance Company does. In fact, we know that you can get a generic training plan from a magazine, a website, or even a friend. But what sets up apart from most coaching programs is our extensive network of professionals.  When you are part of Team ECo, you have access to professionals in industry, in the health field, and in academia.  No matter what your question or issue, we can find an expert who can give you excellent insight and guidance.

Branson Training Camp - August 16-18th

Endurance Company invites you to take part in a training weekend on the beautiful Rev3 Branson course.  The purpose of the training weekend is to give you the opportunity to do focused training on the Rev3 Branson course with like-minded athletes from around the Midwest.  In addition to great training, we have seven (yes, seven!) instructive sessions led by experts in exercise physiology, endurance training, cycling, and nutrition.
